This experimental series of videos were made during an artist residency at Signal Culture in Owego, NY in 2019.
Using their unique, real-time, analog video processing equipment, I played with ideas of inverting my skiagrams (see Concealed at first). Recording what is outside my space instead of inside; working during the day instead of the night; leaving traces of the multiple views and structures that inform the image instead of being fully abstract; having the time be present and at the forefront of the work. Asking the question of how vision and memory intersect.
